We’ve just made it back from MWC and we’re already planning our next trip… and you’re invited!
To mark the completion of our first set of trials, we are inviting you all to our event ‘Beyond the City’ at the home of our partner University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
We’ve had a busy few months! But we have a lot to show for it and would love to show everyone what we have been doing, have some drinks and discuss what’s next for the project and rural connectivity.
We’ve spent the last 10 months exploring the value and viability of connecting some of the most remote areas in the UK, as well as testing out solutions for the farms of the future.
The project has illuminated some of the biggest challenges facing efforts to bridge the UK’s digital divide and proven the case for supporting businesses and communities in hard-to-reach areas.
The event will include a showcase of everything we’ve achieved on the 5G RuralFirst project. It is also an opportunity to hear about the vital lessons we’ve learned and what’s next for the solutions developed at our test bed sites.
The day will include a mix of talks, panels, and live demonstrations from delegates including Cisco, the University of Strathclyde, BBC and others.
